Futures Festival Tromsø
På denne festivalen gjøres fremtiden til et felles prosjekt. I en tid med uro og hvor teknologiutviklingen har skutt fart, kan det være godt med refleksjon, inspirasjon og samvær. Hvordan ser samfunnet vårt ut, når alle får delta?
Et av festivalens mål er samvær og læring på tvers av generasjoner. Det blir derfor aktiviteter for barn, voksne og seniorer. Samtaler, lek og læring vil foregå på plan 2 og barneavdelingen.
Publikum får besøke en rekke stands. Her viser deltakere hvordan de utforsker fremtiden kreativt, og søker løsninger på utfordringer i samfunn og miljø. Deltakerne inviterer til samhandling med publikum. Eksempler er ombruk og bærekraft, samtale over en tekopp, mental helse, forvandling i en AI fotoboks, fremtidsmote, trykkteknikker og skapekonkurranse.
Barn og voksne kan lage dukkefigurer og trykke på ulike materialer. Besøkende inviteres også til å skape et felles maleri.
Fra scenen blir det samtaler og innlegg om tema som er både dagsaktuelle og mer filosofiske.

- Fremtidens helse og innovative studenter v/Jorun Mikalsen, universitetslektor UiT sykepleierstudiet
- Aktive medborgere og det norske Framtidspanelet v/Thomas Berman, partner i SoCentral AS
- Kreativ teknologi - dystopia/utopia? v/Ismet Bachtiar, Tvibit
- Playing the game of AI (quiz) v/Pietro Randine, AI-forsker
- Let’s co-create - the role of future-oriented festivals v/Lizzie Bird, urban designer (UK)
- Ung fremtid v/True North 2026

At this festival, the future is made into a collaborative project. In a time of uncertainty and breakneck technological development, it is good to reflect, inspire each other and come together. What does our society look like when everyone can participate?
One of the goals of the festival is to foster connection and learning across generations. There will be activities for children, adults and seniors. Talks and exploring will take place on level 2 and the children's section.
The audience can visit several stands. Hosts showcase how they explore the future creatively and seek solutions to challenges in society and the environment. The hosts invite you to interact. Examples are recycling and sustainability, conversation over a cup of tea, mental health, transformation in an AI photo booth, future fashion, printing techniques and a creation competition.
Children and adults can make sock puppets and prints on different materials. Visitors are also invited to create a collaborative painting.
From the stage there will be talks on topics that are both current and philosophical.

- Active citizens and the Norwegian future panel by Thomas Berman, partner at SoCentral AS
